Beth Fletcher is a certified health coach with the Integrative School of Nutrition.

As a certified Wellness Coach (and as a female), she understands the weight and frustration of feeling like there is more out there for you, but not knowing where to turn first. Her mission is simple: give clients the wellness education, tools and resources they need to feel happy, healthy and capable of managing life’s pressures.

Beth is a firm believer in getting quality sleep, practicing self-care and finding foods that truly make you feel good.

Meet Jennifer

Mom, yoga INSTRUCTOR, life coach.

When I launched Juniper Row in October 2020, I had such a big vision but lacked one thing...time.

Almost to the day, one year later, I had a thought that changed everything..."I don't have to do this alone, I can create a dream team." And so, since October 2021, this Dream Team has been manifested and nurtured and here we are, a literal Dream Team

Each JRow Contributor is a perfect piece to the Juniper Row puzzle, bringing a wide variety of history, lifestyle, beliefs and personalities. I can't wait for you to get to know them.

LET US FOCUS ON WHAT WE DO BEST SO YOU CAN FOCUS ON WHAT YOU DO BEST

the dream team

xoxo, Beth

Whitney Watson is a nurse practitioner and ER nurse who specializes in infectious diseases, so work’s been pretty ho-hum the past couple years. If she could live anywhere with her wife and three kids, she would have a tough time choosing between the Nordic paradises of Finland and Sweden or the sun-soaked confines of Southern California. But wherever she roams, you’ll never see her happier than when she’s on horseback, riding competitively. She loves hiking and rucking (which is basically hiking with weights . . . amazing). Interesting fact about her, from Whitney herself: "I mean . . . I'm a late-blooming lesbian who came out at 28. I have diagnosed ADHD." We are thrilled to have Whitney's brilliant, insightful perspective as part of Juniper Row.

Stacie Crozier is a woman of classic taste and simple pleasures. She is retired from her career as a digital editor for the American Dental Association (all 5 out of 5 dentists agree she is amazing). Her two children are grown, but the nest she shares with her best friend and soulmate is anything but empty. She fills her days with yoga, long walks, and singing whenever she can find a microphone for karaoke, church band and choir, or guest appearances with local bands. And no year would be complete without at least one reading of her favorite book, Pride and Prejudice. "Love my Darcy and Elizabeth!" When she's crafting heartwarming contributions for Juniper Row, you might find her enjoying a fresh croissant at a wonderful bakery—and you'll definitely find yourself enjoying her words along with her!

Jen Waterbury has practically her entire adult life ahead of her, but she also has her fair share of adventures in the rearview mirror, including a hike of the remote southernmost point of Australia. Her favorite job—so far—is being an auntie to three little ones (good luck, all future jobs, on knocking that one out of the top spot). Her favorite workout is yoga, and if you're picking up a coffee for her, make it a chai tea latte, please. Jen has a bright future, and we're so glad she's chosen to be part of Juniper Row's future as well. We can't wait to read what she has to say!

Mandi Dunlap spent 12 years as an ER nurse and recently switched careers to become a freelance writer, but her favorite job of all is being a mom. None of those jobs, however, come without stress, and she uses running as her go-to stress reliever. She has two girls who love to dance and a husband who has been her best friend since sixth grade, and in her dream scenario, they'd all vacation in Grand Cayman when they weren't at home on their lavender field in Ireland. Our dream scenario is having Mandi contribute her unique perspective at Juniper Row, so we're so excited that dream is coming true as we speak!

When you ask a foodie what their favorite food is, you should be prepared either for something you've never heard of or, as our resident food expert Jamie McKenney answered, every food in existence. When it comes to working out, she's a NordicTrack lover, and she would choose camping in the mountains over lazing on the beach any day. And if she had the chance to have coffee with any famous person past or present, she would opt out because that's just too awkward—but it would definitely be cold brew coffee, and maybe she'd make an exception for her distant relative: Martha Washington. Here at Juniper Row, we're celebrating too things: 1) Food, and 2) the fact that Jamie's going to help us dive into the limitless options available for a truly healthy, thriving lifestyle!

Anna Kenney is among (many) other things, well rounded. Her newest and favorite career is being a Realtor, though she originally dreamed of acting and minored in theater in college. If she could live anywhere with her husband Andy and their two daughters, it would be Michigan in summer, Florida in winter, and Paris, London, or a Tuscan villa in between. Her favorite workout is strength training (but she loves to do it all). Her favorite books are too many to list (though she'll be listing plenty of them here at Juniper Row), but some of the most influential and impressive for her have been Where'd you go Bernadette, by Maria Semple, When These Mountains Burn, by David Joy, and The Last Days of John Lennon, by James Patterson. She drinks coffee in the morning, tea at night, and radiates awesome all day long.

The births of Julia Huisman's three daughters were spread almost perfectly across the span of seventeen years, so she's lived the life of young mom, average-age mom, and old mom (I, Beth, can totally relate to this awesomeness). She's been a magazine editor and a writer, and she'd happily add "resident of the Amalfi Coast in Italy" to her resume if fortune would be so kind. Her favorite workout is cycling/spin, and, judging from the awkward-grin emoji in her answer to our questionnaire, getting more sleep just may be on her list of health goals (again, I can totally relate). Julia is a fascinating person, a wonderful storyteller, and Juniper Row and our readers are so fortunate to have her on the team!

If you ask Marissa Bailey’s 4-year-old Son to describe his mommy, he might tell you she loves to smell his skin and hair, she adores the beach, she’s super pretty and crazy for her new bike (praise be, Peloton). What he might leave out is her career as an Emmy-award winning news anchor (two Emmys, people).
Marissa is a devoted self-help book reader and given the chance she would have lunch with Bradley Cooper. You'll be seeing (and hearing!) a lot from Marissa. Which makes all of us very, very lucky.

CHECK IT OUT

I think that sometimes we forget to do something nice for ourselves. We think it's selfish and we put ourselves last but it's time for that to stop. It's okay to spend time on you, treating you and your body in a way that it deserves...it is special. Truly, wonderfully, special.
